The PA Insurance Department has an immediate opening for a college graduate with no professional insurance experience required!

The Insurance Department is seeking a motivated individual to start a new career with the Property & Casualty Bureau to learn to conduct insurance policy forms reviews.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK:

As a trainee you will complete a 12-month training program where you will learn to deliver appropriate objections and recommendations regarding compliance of P&C insurance product form submissions at very high standards. This position will also learn to coordinate with peer divisional staff to protect consumers and insurers through fair and efficient regulation of the insurance industry.

•Full-time employment.
•Work hours Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with one hour lunch period.
•You will have the opportunity to work from home (telework), part-time up 2 days a week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
•Parking provided by agency.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY:

Qualifications: •Minimum Experience and Training Requirements - A bachelor's degree, including 15 credit hours in public administration, business administration, or a related area.
