Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator ($35,364-$52,773 Annually)
The Department of Military and Veterans Affairs is looking for a dedicated individual to assist in the operation of the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) for the Division of Installation Maintenance at Fort Indiantown Gap. The WWTP Operator performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled tasks in the overall operation of the WWTP, which includes 15 lift stations throughout Fort Indiantown Gap. WWTP is a multi-shift operation. WWTP employees are responsible to remove snow, ice, and debris from all exterior surfaces of facility property and mow grass and maintain appropriate landscaping.

Work Hours: 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Alternating weekends
Location: Fort Indiantown Gap, Annville, PA

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements - Completion of the training program for Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator Trainee and successful completion of the certification process for wastewater treatment plant operator at any class and type; or possession of a valid certification issued by the Pennsylvania State Board for Certification of Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant Operators as a wastewater treatment plant operator at any class and type.

Special Requirements:
•Possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.
•Possession of a valid Possession of a valid Class B, Subclass E, 1 Wastewater System Operator Certification from PA DEP
