Under the general supervision of the VP Human Resources, the Human Resources Administrative Officer has primary HRIS responsibility, performing on it a variety of data and administrative duties supporting recruitment, employment status changes, records management and HR compliance tracking and reports. Performs recruitment tasks, demonstrates strong knowledge of labor laws by preparing required reports and gathering information, and performs confidential and diverse administrative and support duties for Human Resources Department staff. Will support the Senior Human Resources Officer with employee relations, investigations and labor law compliance.

Qualifications Include:
One or more years of experience with ADP or other enterprise HRIS software, as well as a minimum of two to three years of HR administrative and recruitment experience is required.
Strong knowledge and practical understanding of federal and state labor laws required.
An equivalent combination of education and experience that provided both theoretical and practical field knowledge may be considered.
A Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field is a plus.
PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred, or the ability to earn certification within one year of hire.
Experienced in the use of ADP Workforce Now software.
Solid knowledge and understanding of federal and state labor laws.
Advanced skills with MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) required.
Excellent grammar and writing skills.
Strong verbal communications ability.
