Under general supervision of the Education Manager, an Education Services Officer is responsible for assisting in coordinating and directing employee education and development programs and providing financial literacy education to community. An Education Services Officer promotes and maintains a positive image of the Credit Union.

Some of the essential duties of the job are:
Participates in the development of education programs based on identified education needs and changes in Credit Union policy, procedures, programs, services or products.
Responsible for maintaining appropriate education materials and utilize software, manuals, and other educational products.
Delivers group and individual instruction and education covering a range of technical and operational fields.
Utilizes a variety of methods, including written tests, simulated activities and computer software, to test and certify/re-certify employees’ competency levels.
Conducts new employee orientation, observes employees’ learning progress, and evaluates employees’ ability to perform duties.
Participates in the coordinating, scheduling, conducting of education.

Qualification Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in related discipline is preferred, with at least 1 - 3 years’ experience developing and delivering education programs. Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.
Creative and innovative presentation and communication skills and experience in a professional office environment.
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and organizational ability important.
Ability to be bonded.
Ability to travel, attend, and participate in meetings, seminars, and conferences held before and after normal business hours that may require unaccompanied long distance travel and overnight lodging.
Ability to promote and maintain a positive image of the Credit Union to members and employees.
