Planned Systems International, a Government Contractor, has an immediate opportunity available for a Software Developer (.Net) professional to support our Health Solutions Group and Government customers in Columbia, MD.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
The successful candidate’s core responsibility will include, but not to be limited to:
The successful candidate will be expected to immediately contribute toward program software development goals and objectives, by programming complete in ASP.Net and C#.
Candidate will be responsible for all phases of development with a focus on design and development.
Collaborating in a team environment and work with developers, application architect, systems analysts, and managers to deliver high quality software systems that will meet or exceed our client’s expectations.
Performing full lifecycle (SDLC) development including, analysis, design, coding, testing and implementation into a production environment.
Understanding and implementing Use Case Diagrams, Process Flow Diagrams, and Sequence Diagrams.
Translating functional requirements into an architectural design.
Estimating and completing technical development tasks.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in an IT related field and 3+ years overall developing ASP.NET applications.
An equivalent combination of education, certifications and relevant experience may be considered.
Experience in the following technologies: ASP.net, C#, Microsoft.net.
Possess strong analytical skills.
A self-starter that is able to work under minimal supervision.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to meet deadlines under strict timeframes.
Ability to handle multiple tasks.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, including ability to work with executive and technical personnel.
Ability to travel when needed.
Must be a U.S. Permanent Resident or U.S. Citizen.

Additional Desired Qualifications:
Java
.NET 4.6 and C# programming language developing C# code from scratch
HTML5, JQuery, CSS3, and AngularJs or other similar front end development experience.
XUnit Unit Testing Framework.
Knowledge of ASP.NET Web API/MVC.
.NET CORE
Angular
SQL and PostgreSQL Cognos, Cognos, Microstrategy, Discoverer, OBIEE, Kronos
