Job Responsibilities:
Trace Systems is seeking a cleared Information Assurance Manager to join our team based in Joint Base Andrews, MD.

Primary Job Functions:

Analyzes and defines security requirements for Multilevel Security (MLS) issues.
Designs, develops, engineers and implements solutions to MLS requirements.
Responsible for the implementation and development of the MLS.
Gathers and organizes technical information about an organization's mission goals and needs, existing security products, and ongoing programs in the MLS arena.
Performs risk analyses which also includes risk assessment.
Provides daily supervision and direction to staff.
Provides technical support for secure software development and integration tasks, including reviewing work products for correctness and adhering to the design concept and to user standards.
Knowledgeable of Security/Information Assurance (IA) products such as PKI, VPN, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems. Analyzes and recommends resolution of security/IA problems on the basis of knowledge of the major IA products and services, an understanding of their limitations, and knowledge of the IA disciplines.
Primary lead in ensuring the teams’ tracking, updating, and building significant bodies of evidence of the various controls in place for the solution.
Establish systems and manage work with various subject matter experts to ensure the Cyber Security Team identifies gaps in the approach and provides effective mitigation strategies and POA&Ms
Assess various operational changes and engineering design changes to determine the impact on the security posture of the solution
Reviewing results of various scanning tools, vulnerability assessments, and STIG reviews to determine the systems compliance to various standards
Advise Program Office Management, Operations & Maintenance Lead, and System Engineering Leads on IA requirements and help provide solutions to meet requirements.
Provide architectural support in a team environment for Software Defined Networks and Network Virtualization. Concepts
Provide strategies and establish processes to assist programs in establishing Assessment and Authorization (A&A) necessary to operate network systems.
Coordinate and manage the proper implementation of NIST security controls on a variety of system platforms.
Perform other duties as required
Minimum Qualifications:
Position requires a minimum of fifteen (15) years of direct experience
Strong knowledge of FISMA regulation, FIPS standards, and NIST 800-series guidance
Experience working with federal laws and standards, especially FISMA and NIST, as well as commercial best security practices.
Experience developing and maintaining C&A documentation to include: risk assessments; system security plans; contingency planning (CP) and disaster recovery plans (DRP); plans of actions and milestones.
An active, in-scope US Government issued TS clearance with SCI eligibility
Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements: US Citizenship is required
Desired Qualifications:
Experience in public cloud, private cloud, or multitenant environments desired
Strong familiarity with coalition and multi-national information sharing systems, policies and environments
Strong experience working with CDS accreditation organizations and demonstrated ability to deliver effective resolution to CDS objectives throughout the accreditation process
Detailed knowledge of System Security Plans, Contingency Plan, Contingency Plan Testing, Risk Assessment, and other security related artifacts
Architecting and Designing End to End Security Solutions in Cloud

Education:
Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Math, Engineering). With at least fifteen years of general experience of which ten years is directly related experience, a degree is not required.
