Senior Construction Engineer - up to $120,000

Do you have experience in construction management, geotechnical engineering, and materials testing?

We are an industry-leading consulting engineering firm based in Virginia specializing in building envelope consulting, structural engineering, façade investigation and repair, geotechnical engineering, material testing, and special inspections.

We have an immediate full-time opportunity for a talented Senior Construction Engineer to join our team.

As a Senior Construction Engineer, you will actively collaborate with the current Division Manager and senior staff in managerial, technical, and fiscal duties.

All of our clients are located in the VA/MD/DC region so all day-trip travel.

COMPENSATION/BENEFITS

$100,000 - $110,000 base salary plus estimated $10,000 year-end bonus.

SKILLS YOU’LL NEED

4+ years relevant work construction management experience in geotechnical engineering and materials testing and inspection for various construction projects (ASCE Grade equivalent E-IV/E-V).
Background in client relations, procuring new clients and projects, marketing and business development
Experience in overseeing materials testing lab and performing local site visits
Leadership ability - you will train, assign tasks and manage 15 technicians.
Excellent communication skills
Civil Engineering Bachelor's Degree with structural or geotechnical specialties (Masters degree a big plus)
Virginia engineering license (MD and DC license a big plus).
