Summary:

Develop Automatic Test Programs and Test Systems for avionic and Jet Engine Propulsion systems.

The candidate must have experience with the development, programming and support of embedded software.

The candidate must have strong understanding of Data Acquisition System (DAS) design and programming, including establishing optimal sample rates and dynamic range scaling factors and the design and integration of required signal conditioning circuitry.

Basic Qualifications:

· BS/MS degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering

· At least 5 years embedded system design and programming experience.

· At least 7 years Test Program Set (TPS) development experience

· At least 5 years Interface Test Adapter (ITA) hardware development experience

· Proficiency in the LabVIEW development environment

· Proficiency with C/C++ programming

· Proficiency with multiple development environments and use of software debuggers

· US Citizenship

· Ability to obtain security clearance if required

Additional/Desired Qualifications:

· Experience with model-based design (MBD)

· Experience developing Jet Engine Test Programs

· Experience with FPGA programming

· Experience with multiple microprocessor development environments

· Electronic circuit design experience

· Familiarity with USN and USAF Technical Manual content and format

· Experience developing LINUX based applications

· Experience with BASH, Python and other scripting languages

· Experience developing project labor and material estimates

· Experience with developing engineering drawings in AutoCAD or other CAD programs
