Summary of Position

This position will support the execution and development of a comprehensive Cryptographic Modernization (CM) Analysis of Alternative (AoA). Staff will research, analyze, and evaluate programmatic, technical, and operational requirements of a including related components, systems, and infrastructure in various stages of their life cycles to include capabilities analysis, design, development, implementation, and sustainment.

Essential Job Requirements

Support the execution of a comprehensive CM AoA. Prepare technical documentation (architectures, concepts of operations, capability requirements, gap analyses, and other related documentation) required for the planning and execution of the CM AoA. Perform trade studies to evaluate the merits of various technical and programmatic strategies to develop and field CM solutions and document the costs, risks, advantages, and disadvantages; and recommend specific courses of action.

· Assess the ability of existing cryptographic devices to meet future required capabilities

· Identify a set of viable alternatives that meet future capabilities

· Conduct surveys to validate current and future capability gaps

· Analyze Algorithm obsolescence within the existing cryptographic inventory

· Analyze sustainability, maintainability, suitability and supportability of the existing cryptographic inventory

· Evaluate Crypto device relationship to communications and/or weapons systems

· Assess Crypto device relationship to operational and combat support capabilities

       Actively participate in client and industry meetings and conferences as required.

       Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to evaluate requirements, develop strategies, and produce plans for future CM techniques and systems.

Required Education

Associates degree

Required Experience

5+ years of acquisition and technical experience with DoD CM program

5+ years of experience with COMSEC and Key Management

Experience with End Cryptographic Units (ECUs)

Experience with Joint Capabilities Integration Development System (JCIDS)

Experience conducting studies and analyses

US Government or military experience

Market research experience

Required Skills

Expertise with Cryptographic Modernization, COMSEC and Key Management

Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc...).

Office computer and MS Office

Travel Requirements:

25%-50%

Security Clearance

Security clearance; US citizenship required
