Roller Bearing Company of America is an international manufacturer and marketer of highly engineered precision bearings and products, which are integral to the manufacture and operation of most machines, aircraft and mechanical systems, to reduce wear to moving parts, facilitate proper power transmission, reduce damage and energy loss caused by friction and control pressure and flow. While we manufacture products in all major categories, we focus primarily on highly technical or regulated bearing products and engineered products for specialized markets that require sophisticated design, testing and manufacturing capabilities. RBC Transport Dynamics, division of Roller Bearing Company of America, Inc., located in Santa Ana, CA is looking for hands-on, technical individuals to work on our Fourslide machines. Must have an Associate’s degree in a technical field and a strong mechanical aptitude.

Individual will be responsible for:

•Setting up and maintaining production tooling
•Making repairs and adjustments to machine tools and equipment
•Interpreting blue prints, sketches or process sheets
•Setting up and operating a variety of machines, including fourslides, slitters, planish press, diacro, flattening, etc.
•Providing first article and last article inspection
•Using knowledge of mathematics and reference handbooks to make necessary calculations to ensure proper set-up
•Assisting the manufacturing manager with training and development of machinists/fabricators and operators
•Ensuring the daily operation of the fourslide cell runs effectively through operational involvement, tooling and troubleshooting
