RBC Turbine Components, located in Sorrento Valley San Diego, a subsidiary of RBC Bearings, currently seeks a Manufacturing Technician to join our team.

This is a full-time position on first shift, 6 am - 2:30 pm.

Description of work to be performed:
•Assist the building of OEM components and combustor assemblies as required to meet production goals by using tools include Spot welders, Seam welders, Poke tackers, Hydraulic expanders, and air and hand tools.
•Use production tooling and fixture to assist in the building of components.

Qualifications:
•Should be very familiar with braze applications, applying braze and stop off to components.
•Reading and understanding JIS instructions, drawings and other shop manuals and publications.
•5-7 years of direct experience on the same or similar components and processes.
•Standing for extended periods of time, as well as bending and lifting up to 50 lbs are required.
•Use of common shop math, and the ability to both read and interpret prints, sketches, drawings, and approved tech data is required.
