Senior Project Engineer - The Senior Project Engineer directs and administers the technical work involved in overseeing the multiple Capital and Operating (Major Maintenance, Painting, Capitalized Assets, etc.) projects. Responsible for management and implementation of multi-discipline, multi-million dollar engineering projects from inception through design, construction, turn over to user department and close out. This position will be responsible for scope development “request for proposals” for design and construction management contracts, interfacing with various departments and managing teams of engineers and architects.

Manager, Traffic Safety and Engineering - The Manager of the Traffic Safety and Engineering unit directs a staff of engineering and safety professionals in multiple tasks related to ensuring the safety of the public, a smooth flow of traffic and revenue, maintaining the Authority’s facilities in a state of good repair, and an efficient allocation of the Authority’s resources invested in engineering and construction. They include identification and remediation of collision risk locations, support in minimizing the Authority’s legal liability, project management, field inspection, and engineering design and construction support as described below.

Manager, Electrical Engineering - The Manager, Electrical Engineering provides leadership to a staff of technical professionals, comprised of both in-house and consultant personnel in the design and upgrade of the Authority’s facilities, in order to ensure public safety and efficient allocation of the Authority’s engineering and construction resources. This Manager ensures that all projects are designed to the highest level of professionalism, code compliance, constructability, and meet design goals in accordance with acceptable electrical engineering standards. Capital and operating maintenance projects must be designed with minimum impact to the public while maintaining the revenue flow. Significant responsibilities of this position include project management, field inspection, engineering design, development of design standards and guidelines, systems troubleshooting as well as construction support services for complex electrical and control systems; addressing infrastructure needs related to the security, communications, revenue management systems and other major electrical equipment system requirements of B&T’s nine facilities.

Project Manager, Toll System Initiatives - The Project Manager of Toll Initiatives is responsible for the oversight, coordination, and management of large B&T tolling projects involving changes to B&T’s existing tolling system and migrations to new tolling technologies and methods such as AET and ORT. This position is & critical to the successful evolution of B&T’s toll collection system at a pivotal point in time when tolling agencies across the country are moving towards interoperability and more advanced tolling solutions.

Security Manager, Electronic Security Systems - The Security Manager, Electronic Systems position is responsible for protecting and safeguarding MTA B&T revenue, property and personnel through ensuring that all Agency electronic security systems are properly designed, configured, maintained and administered and meet the needs of all user departments and outside entities.
