ASSOCIATE STORAGE ENGINEER (ENTRY LEVEL)

It looks like you want to be an Associate Storage Engineer. This is an entry-level technical role that gets you on your way to be one of our #TSProckstars and to get your career in the data storage industry started! This is a home-based field role with local/regional travel in Phoenix and surrounding areas – occasionally travel outside the normal coverage area.
Compensation: up to $14-16/hr (depending on level of experience) starting pay + overtime + oncall/standby pay. This will be a W2 full time role with benefits. During training there will be 3 different $1 merit increases as certain training goals are met. Will also be eligible to be reimbursed for cell phone usage, home internet, and mileage.
AS THE NEXT ASSOCIATE STORAGE ENGINEER, YOU’LL BE TAKING ON THESE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Immediate duties (after a short training period) will be the maintenance of data storage equipment (power supply, disk, shelf adds, motherboard replacements etc.), including troubleshooting and following product repair action plans.
On occasion will assist with installations (unboxing, lifting, racking/stacking, installing, etc.).
Will be required to interact with IT customers and TSP technical team members, including presales, services, and support organizations. Impact extends to customer technical representatives including systems administrators and technical managers.
Maintain flexibility to travel outside of the coverage area when required. May be asked to cover other areas from time to time. This could mean coverage in different cities/states.
WE KNOW YOU CAN HANDLE THESE THINGS BECAUSE YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE LIKE:
Good technical acumen (in work experience, military experience, or just the "go-to" person that all your friends/family go to for technical help!).
Good job stability must be reflected on resume.
Positive attitude, professional, self-motivated, and fast-learner.
A strong sense of urgency and customer-facing skills is required.
Must have superb writing skills, a strong understanding of Microsoft Outlook and a handle on time management.
Reliable transportation and valid drivers licence.
Must be available for oncall/standby pay coverage (nights and weekends)
