Responsible for preparing site prior to the commencement of project. This includes setting out the site and organizing activities. The Site Manager is on hand throughout the build to assess progress and solve problems as they arise. They are the coordinator for all activities on site involved with the installation, start up and commissioning of the food processing system.
Executes, leads and supervises the total installation process, testing and start-up of equipment.
Reports progress to clients throughout installation process.
Coordinates and supervises all tasks of Company personnel on the customer site in order to facilitate a timely installation and start-up; also includes any subcontractors used for the installation.
Acts as the key contact for the customer during the installation and coordinate all communications between Company and the customer.
Submits weekly reports to Project Manager and Service Manager outlining progress and concerns.
Conducts safety inspections to ensure maintaining proper safety protocol while on client’s site.
Acts as a back up to the Project Manager for reviewing the sign-off protocols, execution of jobs, and the Final Acceptance Protocol that needs to be signed by the customer
4-year degree in related field preferred
5 years as a Supervisor; preferably in the poultry industry
Ability to lead a team under stressful circumstances
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to deal with customer needs professionally
Overall understanding of project management of capital goods and quality assurance procedures, Must comprehend mechanical/technical issues, in addition to, operational and logistical items related to order installation, start up and commissioning.
Must be computer savvy (Excel, Office 365)
Ability to lift heavy equipment.
Frequent travel required.
