JOB SUMMARY:
Perform daily production activities of screen printing operations, meeting all standards to ensure customer and quality standards are met. Consistently meets safety protocols.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Gains technical understanding of how materials are produced in Screen printing/Coating
department and how to manufacture each item. Ensure finished products meet quality and
customer specification standards.
 Obtains manufacturing orders and stock orders from the production planning department.
Receives raw materials, or goods-in-process, along with order, verifying orders are correct and determines whether order is complete or incomplete.
 Sends material from Screen Printing to the next stage in the manufacturing process as defined by the Manufacturing Order.
 Completes required Manufacturing/Stock Order paperwork for established quality requirements.
 Responsible for achievement of daily and weekly, manufacturing goals and objectives as assigned.
Maintains an accurate record of all completed work.
 Set up/run for 1 & 2 color flatbed screen printing presses, and 1 & 2 color rotary screen presses.
 Prioritize screen making, stretching and reclaiming responsibilities are completed along with other various steps included in the screen printing process.
 Mix ink to multiple color standards according to standard formulas. Compares ink or paint
prepared for printing run with master color swatch to confirm accuracy of match.
 Examines product for paint smears, position of design, or other defects and adjusts equipment.
 Consistently perform at the highest level of manufacturing efficiency and quality (scrap, utilization, rework, equipment downtime, safety).
 Assists in training new employees and aid production team to be meet departmental needs.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
 1 year of prior experience in screen printing, up to three years preferred
 Must be able to perform basic math and interpret a ruler
 Basic computer skills required
 Good detail and decision making skills in order to setup equipment, check product quality and make adjustments to meet customer deadlines and requirements
 Ability to work effectively on several projects simultaneously
 Solid understanding of production functions and processes, materials, screen printing equipment.
 A good eye for color and design is necessary.
