JOB SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Production Supervisor, the Finisher performs assembly work, packaging, and verification for order completeness against established quality and delivery requirements. Helps maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area, transports materials, and performs various duties to assist in the efficient production of company products.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Obtains finished or semi-finished goods from other production departments as assigned and distributed by manufacturing order requirements. Receives goods-in-process, along with manufacturing orders, verifying orders are correct and determines whether order is complete or incomplete. Assists with the production of order, by finishing, sorting, and packing material.
 Examines material as it is being processed. If material/product is unacceptable, stops the process, and orders a remake.
 Cleans edges of 215 tags, placing adhesive on backs of tags, if necessary. May sheet/stack cut and back score 900 markers, roll 995 and 970 product for shipping. Count quantities of material to ensure order is complete before shipping. Assists in packaging material.
 Verify manufacturing efficiency/quality (accuracy, scrap, utilization, rework, equipment downtime)
 Provides continuous feedback to the Production Supervisor or Production Manager in regards to order completion to meet on-time delivery requirements.
 Participates in weekly and monthly inventory counts and report quantities to purchasing
 Completes and logs all orders for release in the Production Finishing Log
 Cultivate procedure development, review, and implementation
 Expand comprehension and motivation
 Communicate with other employees/customers in a calm and professional manner; and listen well.
 Perform routine machine maintenance and minor repairs when necessary
 Maintain production rate consistency; meet or exceed established minimum production rates.
 Works effectively on different projects simultaneously.
 Comply with relevant occupational health and safety requirements.
 Keep the production area neat, clean and organized.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
 1-2 years previous experience as a Finisher or Production Associate
 Technical skills related to basic equipment maintenance required.
 Self-motivated, ability to work at a fast pace.
 High attention to detail; a good eye for color and design is necessary.
