Experienced Project Manager needed to plan, and manage procurement and implementation of large public safety radio systems used by police, fire, EMS, and public transportation departments in a major metropolitan area.

Successful candidate must be able to:

  • acquire FCC licenses for large public safety radio systems.

  • install Motorola R56 compliant public safety radio site infrastructure including radio towers, shelters, site grounding and electrical systems, generators, and HVAC systems.

  • supervise, mentor, and provide expertise to other project team members

  • provide clear and consistent instructions to vendors and project team members

  • have hands-on knowledge of fundamental RF principals, current and legacy radio technologies and products, and mission-critical public-safety radio system network engineering, design, implementation, management, and operation best practices

  • FCC First Class, GROL, or Extra Class radio license a plus.
