JOB SUMMARY:

Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on production, packaging and warehouse equipment including heating and refrigeration systems, conveyors, motors, fork lifts and related components.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Perform electrical repairs and troubleshoot for the following: PLC Controls, AC & DC motor controls, solid state motor controls, advance circuits and grounding.

· Support facility maintenance equipment, which includes the following: waste water equipment, compressed air, refrigeration and building safety equipment.

· Perform daily inspections, emergency repairs, and routine adjustments; follow periodic preventive maintenance schedule.

· Install new electrical and mechanical equipment.

· Perform building repairs and modifications (when required).

· Maintain and operate plant wastewater pre-treatment plant.

· Operate CMMS system and demonstrate 100% functionality in order to complete work orders as well as log corrective maintenance issues in the system.

· Initiate purchase order requests for repair parts.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

· 4+ years of experience and/or training with industrial equipment, high speed processing, weighing, filling, packaging, conveyor, motors, pumps, gear boxes, forklifts, plumbing and building maintenance.

· Electrical Experience: 110 - 440 V, AC & DC control, PLC/Inverter programming, troubleshooting.

· Welding: Gas, Arc, Mig, Tig, steel, brass, aluminum, stainless, cast iron, plasma cutting.

· Heating & Refrigeration: Freezers, coolers, water chillers, air conditioners, gas-fired heating systems, boilers, water heaters and heat exchangers.

· Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, technical manuals, and wiring schematics & ladder diagrams.

· Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

NOTE: THIS IS A 3rd SHIFT POSITION (must be willing to work weekends too)
