Worked as a chemist (9 years) and a librarian (4 years) at the Texaco Research Labs, worked as Technology Editor at Hart's E&P and Upstream Technology magazines. Currently writing field development plans and standards and procedures at Occidental Petroleum. Send out Writing Style Tips of the Day to 250+ Oxy folks, which I'm developing into an Oil Patch Writing course. Also serve as 2014-15 Chair of Society of Petroleum Engineers Gulf Coast Section.
