About LISA

Hello, I am seeking to work with foundations’ and organization’s to improve and expand community social impact!

About me:
Lisa Smith served in the Air Force Security Forces before hanging up her beret and returning to graduate school to become a macro social worker, focusing on expanding and developing effective programs to serve at-risk populations in Colorado. Lisa has spent nearly a decade advocating for and working with the veteran and older adult population through both nonprofit and government services. She helped tackled Boston’s housing issues through the Mayor’s Office of New Urban Mechanics, piloting innovative projects and programs. While attending school at Boston College, Lisa co-founded the first Veterans Program on campus helping support newly enrolled students. Currently, Lisa oversees the Clay Hunt Fellowship Alumni Program through Team Rubicon and serves on the Veteran Legal Services Development Committee. In her spare time, Lisa is an avid traveler and likes to hang out with her sassy dog, Willie Chancho.
