About Matt
My name is Matt Brown. I work as an Associate for a private equity firm headquartered in Washington, D.C., called The Halifax Group. We partner with founders, entrepreneurs, and management teams of small and midsize companies across a variety of sectors (healthcare, restaurants, industrial / environmental, outsourced business and education services) to help them grow their businesses. Before Halifax, I worked as an investment banking analyst for a firm specializing in mergers and acquisitions in the aerospace, defense, and government contracting sectors. I graduated from Furman University with degrees in Economics and Political Science, and was the captain of the Men's Golf Team. Outside of work, I enjoy playing golf, serving in my church, and spending time with family. Additionally, I have the highest degree of respect for our soldiers and veteran community, and one of my greatest passions is serving those who have sacrificed so much for our great country and its citizens.
