About Mark

I am a Career Services Professional with a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Development and a background in Program and Project Management in corporate, government/military, and higher education environments.

During my active-duty career as an Army Officer, I successfully provided leadership and management of technical programs and teams, as well as organizational staffs at a variety of levels and locations from small response teams, to strategic-level organizations, to the White House staff. I also provided career guidance and mentoring for my subordinates, students and peers. Within the corporate environment, I was directly involved in all phases of the Human Resources, Recruiting, Business Development, and Marketing processes. This, along with my own career transitions, has given me relevant knowledge and understanding from both sides of the hiring process.

I found my affinity towards career services as a facilitator for the Department of Labor’s Employment Workshop; part of the Department of Defense Transition Assistance Program for retiring and separating military members. This is where I gained an updated and more technical understanding of the tools and techniques required for today’s hiring process. Most recently, as a Career Services Representative with Bryant & Stratton College, I continued my growth within career services and furthered my understanding of current recruiting and hiring processes.

I would like to assist veterans with their development of the proper job search tools and techniques, and ultimately finding meaningful employment.
