About Chandra
My name is Chandra Livingston and I am excited to serve as an Advisor with ACP AdvisorNet. As a caring, inspiring and transformative leader, my passion is to inspire others to become a better version of themselves, resulting from a thriving mindset. As both a spouse and daughter of Army men, I am seeking ways to make an impact in the Veteran community.
I reside in the Houston area and recently had the opportunity to coordinate an eight month long $4.3 million-dollar Hurricane Harvey relief effort for a local charter school system. As the Certified Public Accountant assigned to lead the funds distribution effort, I was tasked with creating disaster relief internal controls to both assess needs and procure food and home goods for nearly a thousand students and their families. As a result, my longtime desire to shift my career into teaching and training was confirmed with me receiving an Unsung Hero award for my collaborative work ethic and inspiring words of encouragement as I met with families and school counselors.
As a longtime advocate for healthy, wealthy and wise living, I welcome the opportunity to leverage my master’s degree in organizational management, my advanced communication skills, along with my leadership experience to support the successful transition of young veterans into a productive civilian lifestyle.
