tamme@findmeafranchise.com First, I think it is important to mention that I am a 53 year old (that is a current picture) entrepreneur with an enormous passion for business. At age 18, I started my first service business that proved to be very successful. Over the years I have become very proficient in small business and am currently considered the top expert in franchising for SCORE, a division of the Small Business Administration, where I mentor individuals who either wish to start a small business or need to expand their existing small business. 18 years ago I entered into franchising as a regional developer in a restaurant franchise and became very successful over a period of 9 years. My 2nd franchise was a successful service franchise. I sold both franchises and started a consulting business called FindMeAFranchise, LLC. My mission is to coach individuals who want to buy a start up franchise but do not have the knowledge of how to start a business, go through the process of doing due diligence or choosing the right franchise that will give them the greatest chance for success. I have worked with many veterans over the last 9 years, helping them get into business; most of the time with very little resources. Below is my extended bio.

I have been in the franchise industry for over 18 years. First as an owner and operator, operating as a Regional Developer, multi-unit Franchise Owner for 11 years in 2 franchise systems, with locations in two large metropolitan cities. My specialty was in the areas of operations and profitability. I sold my franchises and decided to go after my passion of helping individuals as a Franchise Coach/Consultant.
I have 9+ years as a Franchise Coach, specializing in the process of due diligence/investigating a franchise, understanding and negotiating the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) and Franchise Agreement, Validation Process of franchise systems and their current franchisees to ensure client success and profitability, helping clients secure funding and favorable lease negotiations.
I have appeared in several local and national publications such as USA Today, Business First, Franchise Update, and The Courier Journal for the innovative way I ran my franchises.
In addition to my business ownership and Franchise Coach/Consultant experience, I have an 18 year span in the banking industry that includes work with a large Commercial Bank, The Federal Reserve Bank and the SBA. I hold a Bachelor degree in Business and a Kentucky Real Estate license.
I am a past Program Chair appointee to the board of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) where I focused on educating women business owners on best business practices. .
