About Meg

I am 55, married, mother of 2 college age kids, landscape designer. I graduated from Univ of Vermont in '81 with a nutrition degree. Landscape work is my second career and I have found working in the green industry so very rewarding. I focus on restoration plantings with native trees and plants to help ecosystems and landscapes. I started out 20 years ago with container plantings for my clients which led to other jobs in gardens and larger projects. I have about 35 regular clients to work on container plantings from March through to December. I am single LLC business and work often with other larger companies to give design and expidite crews to install projects. I am all self taught and have gotten education from classes at Cornell Coop programs, Lady Bird Johnson's Native Plant Center in Elmsford, NY and NYBG winter programs. I find the work extremely satisfying. There is lots of hard work, but the day is full of interesting, helpful, and genuine people to make it move along. I would like to.very much help any veteran with any and all my small business experience especially in the landscape industry. It is a wonderful job and with lots of hard work and honesty one can make a good living in it.
