About Nathan
I am currently a Military Intelligence (MI) Captain in a company command position of a Headquarters company with about 10 months remaining until I retire from the military on Sep 1 2018. I have served as a welder, cavalry scout (19D), interrogator and commissioned Officer in the MI field focused on All Source Intelligence analysis with an emphasis on North Korea and a lesser focus on Central America.
Have served in the security management role for Personal Security, Physical Security and the non-IT side of Information security. I have 2 years experience in leading a BDE (approximately 1100 personnel organization) Organizational Inspection Program. Was responsible for the long range planning (24-36 month) of the BDE training calendar and annual and quarterly training guidance.
I have a high interest in the IT field, either software development or Cybersecurity and am currently doing self study through Udacity and Udemy to learn those concepts.
My primary strengths include management, leadership, planning and analysis/research. I have been recognized as a decisive, leader and manager of teams and sections that accomplish complex tasks on time and to the established standard.
