Seeking a career in defense, aerospace, & aviation

Burke, VA

20+ years of proven leadership through service to the nation and volunteer organizations across the globe and in the community.

Privilege to command and serve our nation’s men and women from company to brigade, at home and abroad, has given me unique insights into leadership at echelon and built a fierce commitment to develop the best in individuals, teams and organizations.

Intelligence professional with staff, joint and interagency experience and a full understanding of the intelligence warfighting function from the tactical to the strategic level. Active Top Secret SCI clearance with polygraph. Commercial airplane and helicopter pilot, with more than 20 years of global intelligence, reconnaissance, and surveillance experience.

Leading teams a small as five and as large as one thousand gives me a broad spectrum of leadership and problem solving experience. Assignments at the Army staff, joint, international and interagency level provided me additional context to view problem sets and opportunities as well as gain experience in resourcing, government procurement and contracting, strategy development and program management.

I believe that individuals are the building blocks of organizational success and that every endeavor is first a human one. Investment in the individual is essential to the success of the organization and we ignore the well-being and unique capabilities of our teammates at our own peril.

Giving back to the community provides me a sense of fulfillment and makes me a better person, husband and father. Volunteering with community groups, local government and the Boy Scouts of America is an integral part of my life. Developing our next generation of leaders is an honor and a responsibility.

In the end, life is too short to be unhappy. I’m committed to making a positive difference in the lives of those I interact with, the organizations I am a part of, and the community I live in while having fun doing it.
