About Wesley
I served in the US Navy from 1996-2000 on the USS San Jacinto CG-56. I deployed to the Arabian Gulf in 1998 as part of Operation South Watch. I have a doctorate and masters degree in educational leadership, and a bachelor's degree in psychology and have worked in public education since 2008. I have been self-teaching myself software development through FreeCodeCamp, The Odin Project, Udemy, Coursera, and recently Scrimba. My passion and what I am seeking a job in is working with software development to improve the world.
