About Ivan

I left active duty in 2009, remaining in the Reserves, and started my career path into real estate development in Washington DC. I earned my Masters in Real Estate from Georgetown University with an emphasis in Finance and Development. I worked on real estate development PPP projects for the Washington DC Mayor, as a development manager for a Washington DC based real estate development company, and moved into real estate finance and private equity for a couple years. In my freetime I worked on putting small assemblages together and looked for small development opportunities. In 2017 I moved to Los Angeles to work for a hotel development company which was undergoing a growth strategy. In 2018, the hotel development company decided to shrink its senior management team and take the company in a different direction. I am currently consulting for LA County on real estate development projects, and am pursuing small shovel ready developments in several key LA submarkets. I am looking for mentors who are interested in providing guidance and insight.
