About Ryan
I served as a motor transport operator while being stationed in Okinawa, Japan and Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. I was able to attend a peace treaty ceremony on Iwo Jima in 2012. I also took part in training in South Korea working with ROK Marines and being able to visit the DMZ in 2013. Although I picked up Corporal, I had a drinking problem that led to a demotion to Lance Corporal, but I was ale to finish my service and was released Honorably.
I had to pick myself up from rock bottom and find a career path that led me to get an associates in applied science for aviation mechanics and obtained my airframe and power plant license. I worked on helicopters at the Grand Canyon for a year and a half before I chose to pursue my true dream. Today I am attending New York Film Academy where I am on track to obtain a Batchelor's in Fine Arts for Filmmaking. I am passionate about making films that can benefit helping others and show the people about love and compassion. Although I am new to filmmaking, I am willing to learn as much as I can (Hopefully hands on or shadowing) by attending filmmaking events. I am also a beginner golfer and read to get back on the course, if I can afford it.
