About Erica
Erica Jeffries Purdo is the Vice President of Strategy, Transformation, and Analytics for Global Corporate Affairs. In this role, Erica will lead the development and execution of integrated strategies that shape, amplify, and evolve the Global Corporate Affairs organization - targeted at a wide array of global internal and external stakeholders. Erica’s team will focus on delivering measurable value at scale across J&J, and forging inclusive partnerships that connect teams, insights, and results.
In her previous role, Erica led the Pharmacy Channel Management team in the Janssen Strategic Customer Group. In that role, her team was charged with building programs and pharmacy solutions to enhance the patient journey. Prior to joining J&J, Erica had a successful career with roles in both the public and private sectors beginning as an officer in the US Army to serving as the Director of the Illinois Department of Veterans' Affairs (IDVA). At the Federal level, Erica had the privilege of serving as a White House Fellow where she focused on building public-private partnerships. As a management consultant in the private sector, Erica specialized in defense strategy and national security policy with assignments in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
Erica is an ardent supporter of military service members and their families and received an appointment from the Secretary of the Army to serve as a Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army (CASA) for the state of New Jersey. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point, a Master of Arts from Georgetown University, and an MBA from Virginia Tech University. Erica lives in Westfield, NJ with her husband Derek and daughters Talia (6) and Brielle (4).
