I served from 1977 to 2002 in a variety of assignments and within the NSW community, I attained the rank of E-7 as a Chief Boatswainmate in 1991 after returning from the Persain Gulf War.
Following my retirement I have strived to better my position, I have been an Instructor, Security Contractor and also a Team manager.
8 years ago I formulated a small company based off many of my strengths gained during my US Navy career, in which we incorperate Captain and Crewing Services, Diving and Maritime Security, I quickly had contracts which have enabled me to grow First Division Maritime, Consulting and Services from a Sole Proprietorship to recently becoming a Limited Liability Company.
Recently, the local Department of Tourism held a competition for ideas which could bolster tourism, my idea was selected and we recently received a grant to aid in doing this project, however seeking investors has never been a strong suit.
I do not know how to request funds, other than from banks but a this is a rather large project I am not certain where to start.
