About Kim
- I'm in the midst of planning a major career shift. For the last 4 years, I've been the career advisor to veterans, active duty and wounded warriors helping them with their transition, but now it's my turn. After serious personal reflection, I am rebranding and pivoting my own shift (currently studying for PMP). It's time to follow my own advice
- I was married to a Marine for 10 years and I was heavily engaged in supporting the military community through Iraq and Afghanistan wartime realities via volunteerism and jobs
- Previously worked as a family readiness officer/program manager for 5th Marine Regiment/RCT-5 in '09-'13 during their OEF deployments, supported 3D Marine Div in Okinawa '08-'09 (this unit experienced heavy casualties which is important context to the work I have been involved in since)
- I'm here to explore different industries and companies hiring PMPs, I will relocate to Rocky Mountain areas, likely CO (outdoor mountain lifestyle lover)
- 17 years professional experience in program/project management, team leadership, and coaching in the military community, BS in Social Science
