About Rick

Rick Comeau is a Senior Manager in Deloitte Risk & Financial Advisory. His area of focus is cyber risk services for government and public sector clients, notably state & local (S&L) governments. Rick began his career serving as an officer in the U.S. Coast Guard where he spent 7 years on active duty, including on a high endurance cutter and leading a law enforcement detachment. He then worked as a federal contractor supporting various federal departments and agencies, including the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Federal Bureau of Investigation, and U.S. Department of Energy. Rick spent several years at the Center for Internet Security (CIS) and also served as an executive at the New York State Office of Cybersecurity & Critical Infrastructure Coordination (CSCIC). His responsibilities at CSCIC included the programmatic and budgetary management of the Multi-State Information Sharing & Analysis Center (MS-ISAC), and he also helped lead the transfer of the MS-ISAC from a NY State government program within CSCIC to a sub-organization within CIS.
Rick obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and a Master of Business Administration degree from the George Washington University.
