About Rachel
I am a contracts lead for Draper, a non-profit government contracting company based in Massachusetts. Before that, I went to undergraduate at UC San Diego and law school at Michigan State University. I served as a Judge Advocate in the military for almost seven years with a variety of experiences and titles. I deployed with XVIII Airborne Corps to Iraq and Syria and was stationed most recently with a joint special operations command. I transitioned out of the military in October 2022 from Stuttgart, Germany and moved to Fort Worth, TX with my husband.
The transition out of the military was surprisingly very difficult. Having mentors and short chats with new people helped keep me on track, and I want to do the same for others.
Passions include reading, staying active, traveling, and watching old Paul Newman and 80s/90s action flicks with my spouse.
