About Jeff
Captain, US Coast Guard (retired) - 27+ years commissioned service
I currently serve as the Chief of Staff for Operation Blessing International, a non-profit organization dedicated to relieving human suffering in the United States and around the world. In this capacity, I oversee the day-to-day operations and integrated missions focused on disaster relief, hunger relief, clean water, medical aid and international community development. I retired from the US Coast Guard after 27+ years of commissioned service primarily in the engineering, operational logistics, acquisitions program management, and installation command / senior mission support disciplines. I am a registered professional engineer, project management professional, DHS Acquisition Program Manager Level 3, Contracting Officer's Representative Level 3 and Incident Command System/National Incident Management System Incident Commander (Type 3) / Logistics Section Chief (Type 3) / Finance and Admin Section Chief (Type 3) certifications. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the US Coast Guard Academy, a Masters of Organizational Leadership from Regent University, and a Masters in National Security Studies (Homeland Defense and Security) from Naval Postgraduate School's Center for Homeland Defense and Security.
My focus is on helping others achieve their full potential through my volunteer leadership in Scouts - BSA programs (Boy Scouts, Sea Scouts, Cub Scouts), meeting needs of the poor and suffering domestically and internationally, and support of the military community (including those transitioning from service).
