Professional Summary: As a former United States Army soldier and being a Veteran, working with the
Veteran’s Healthcare Administration is near to my heart. I am skilled in many different techniques such as
creating a filing system, monitoring medical record requests, and accounting for the number of requests
done per day, accounting for the amount electronically filed per hour and per day, and tracking these items
using Microsoft Excel. I am proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. I am willing and able to
learn new things. I have worked in health care professionally for a little over a year, but, I have several
degrees of healthcare based education.
Skills: I was a professional Unit Supply Specialist skilled in the logistics field at over three years’
experience in the United States Army. I currently work at Womack Army Medical Center as a Medical
Support Assistant. I work well with or without supervision. I also have experience in office administration
and management from my military experience. I have much experience with customer support service,
internal and external. I have worked closely with veterans and military members in substance abuse and
mental health care. I have earned an Associate in Applied Science Medical Office Administration,
Associate in Applied Science Healthcare Management Technology, Bachelor of Healthcare Management
Specialization Gerontology Management, and a MBA Specialization Healthcare Management. I am
currently pursuing a Doctorate of Health Administration degree. I am skilled at learning new concepts
quickly while working under pressure in an organized and orderly fashion. I am proficient in the use of
Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. I am also capable of typing at least 60 words a minute
