About Stephen
A former Marine Officer, college professor, architect and project manager, I came to Afghanistan with URS. When I went home to my home in Texas and my office in Washington, DC, I discovered that I am no longer suited to the adrenalin free workplace.
I now work for the United Nations, specifically the United Nations Office of Project Services (UNOPS) in Kabul, Afghanistan. My first assignment was as Engineering Manager for a Customs and Trade Facilitiation Project sponsored by the World Band. Now, I find myself building a regional airport in Bamyan for the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
Stephen has volunteered to be available for private messages. Feel free to send a conversational message but remember to be succinct and mindful of the other person’s time.
