When looking for a job, dump the books on how to find a job and learn how to sell--because that's what you're doing. You're the product and mastering techniques in networking, marketing, discovery, presentation, negotiating and learning how to shut up and listen are what successful sales people do. Part of this process is figuring out how to present your skills in terms your prospective employer will understand. How can you help them?
