About Lynette

I joined Wells Fargo January 2017, after more than 10 years of being a full-time military communicator and Public Affairs Specialist for the State of Minnesota. I am going on 17 years as a military public affairs specialist for two different braches of the military. I have experience with internal and external communications, as well as social media management, media management, and crisis communication. I have helped developed strategic communication plans, press releases, fact sheets, and talking points for military members talking to the media.

I served nine years as a Staff Sergeant in the Minnesota Army National Guard. I am currently serving as a Technical Sergeant in the Minnesota Air National Guard. I have been deployed multiple times as a sole public affairs specialist for the guard during humanitarian efforts. I have also deployed three times, in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation New Dawn, and most recently Operation Inherent Resolve.

After being a communications consultant for Wells Fargo for two years, I enjoyed leaning forward with learning about the technology side of today's communication demands, and innovative ways to communicate a message. I am now a part of an exciting initiative to help gain military hires. I am ecstatic to be in this space to change the lives of military members looking for fruitful and a place to start and expand their career after service.

In my free time, I love being a dog mom, exploring the lakes of Minnesota, and becoming more proficient in Spanish!

Feel free to mention me in a post or ask me about Veteran Employment Transition (VET) Program and Diverse Talent.
