About Tamera
Hello,
I have been working with persons with disabilities in the vocational/educational arena for 20 years. I am energetic and young at heart!
It is extremely rewarding to assist others in engaging and encouraging persons to succeed. And this arena is even more exciting for me! I have several friends that are currently serving overseas. My eldest brother served in Vietnam, AND definitely would have benefited from such a program!
I was very excited to see the commercial on Saturday, February 28 regarding this program.
I have worked as a Professional/Lead in both the public and private sectors for Vocational Rehabilitation, as well as, Disability Resource Centers on university/college campuses. I also have experience administering and interpreting various vocational interests/value tests, as well as, aptitude tests.
I earned my B.A. in Sociology from Arizona State University in 1994 and then my M.A. in Rehabilitation Counseling from University of Arizona. I know they are rivalries..... I wont disclose my favorite. :-)
I have been happily married for 10 years and live in Tempe, AZ. My husband is from Belgium, but has been a U.S. citizen for about 6 years. He prefers the U.S.! :-)
