Chief Master Sergeant Lawrence F. Godin is the Chief Enlisted Manager and Intelligence Functional Manager, Headquarters Air Combat Command, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia. He advises the Director of Intelligence on intelligence manning, training, organization, equipping, and utilization of over 18,000 personnel. Chief Godin also guides intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance tactics, techniques, and procedures for combat air forces worldwide.
CMSgt Godin enlisted in the Army in 1994, his assignments ranged from Armor Battalions, Mechanized Infantry units, Intelligence Battalions, supported Operation BRIGHT STAR and deployed to Operation DESERT THUNDER. After a short period in the Army National Guard, he entered into the Air Force in 2000. His background includes various intelligence positions, to include multinational, coalition and joint service. His assignments have ranged from tactical combat engagements, reach back support for ongoing operations, special operations combat support, theater level leadership and has deployed numerous times in support of Operations NORTHERN WATCH, IRAQI FREEDOM, NEW DAWN and ENDURING FREEDOM.
