About Beverly
Now currently retired, I was an adjunct instructor at The College of Lake County, teaching Art 121, a course designed for students with little to no background in the visual art world. This course assisted students in becoming acquainted with the importance of art globally; enhance vocabulary, critical thinking and writing skills about visual art and last, enabling students to become informed, intuitive audiences and critics in/ of art in a broader spectrum.
At the Teaneck Community Charter School I was their lead Visual and Performing Arts and Character Education teacher. Additionally, I acted as the school's Equity and Affirmative Action Officer and assistant to the administration. I am presently relocated to the North Chicagoland area; with the intent to re-open my jewelry design business and revisit my career as a professional visual artist.
