About James

I am a military professional who has spent over 12 years in service to the Army. I commanded two companies and executed the planning and training of over 120 Soldiers. I've served dual roles while assigned to the Experimental Force as the Executive Officer and Platoon Leader. I have over two years experience in planning and resourcing logistics. In an effort to serve my community, I became a Team Captain for the House of Heroes where I volunteered many hours organizing teams and projects to improve the quality of life for local veterans. I've also held several positions outside the military in customer service and event planning.

My military career began in 1997 as a machinist. During that time, I served at Fort Benning, Georgia and Bamberg, Germany with 1 year spent in Operation Iraqi Freedom. After seven years of service, I attended college and upon graduation I decided to return to the military as an officer. I selected the Infantry for its leadership opportunities. Six years later, I have decided to take the skills I've honed as a leader and apply them to a career in the civilian workforce.

In addition to leading daily operations, I have also instructed Soldiers in martial arts. In my martial arts journey, I've trained all over the country and worldwide. I have a background in Filipino Martial Arts, Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

I welcome diversity and open communication to ensure ideas see fruition. I'm resilient and adaptable. I excel in teaching, mentoring, and public speaking. My extensive leadership experience has prepared me well and I'm exploring new opportunities.
