About Joseph (Joe)
I am a Vietnam veteran. Served 3 1/2 years (1 ½ years enlisted, 2 years commissioned) in the US Army. I have spent the majority of my career as an entrepreneur. I have owned and managed two marketing services agencies, and in the past few years have assisted nonprofits to develop workforce development partnerships and programs to improve employment outcomes for under-employed and unemployed New Yorkers, including folks with disabilities, at-risk-youth and veterans. I currently serve as the Director of the Veterans Mental Health Coalition (VMHC) of NYC. I am NOT a mental health professional. My primary responsibility is to develop educational programming that assists civilian providers to be more effective in their work active duty personnel, veterans and their families. As an ACP Advisor, I offer my experience, personal network and commitment to assist every veteran, man or woman, to achieve their goals or find services to support their efforts.
