About Jim

I am a retired Command Master Chief with 27 years of Naval service. I have been through the trials and tribulations of transitioning into the civilian work force and learned many valuable lessons along the way. I made mistakes, applied for jobs I was not qualified for, stumbled on interview questions and felt like a complete failure at times. However, through good mentors, networking and determination I was able to land a good job within the federal government. I seek to share my transition experiences with veterans in hopes that it might assist in navigating through the job hunt process.
