About Marisela

I was born in Guanajuato, Mexico but migrated to the United States in 1992. As of April 2020, my husband I bought our home in Spring, TX. Previously, I had the opportunity to live and work in IL, MA, HI, and NM.

Regarding my career. I have gradually but consistently continued to develop my experience, skills, and knowledge to serve my employer in related Business Administration, Human Resources and Talent Management critical responsibilities, including teaching in higher education.

I'm passionate about paying it forward by helping people who come from families with limited access to resources and opportunities.

In 2005, I began my professional training in Organizational Development, Human Resources and People Management while earning my Bachelor's Degree in Corporate Communication, and in 2008, while working for the Department of Defense on a multi-million dollars project, I pursued my Master's Degree in Management and Public Administration. I wanted to advance my professional development and technical experience, and in 2010, I decided to pursue my doctorate in Management in Organizational Leadership, successfully graduating July 30, 2016. While attending school, I continued to work full-time, holding various roles and responsibilities involving people management, organizational performance, and innovative programs and projects.

I enjoy meeting people from all walks of life, experiencing local restaurants, and hiking.
