About Michael (Mike)
I am 10 years into my third career as a front line sales professional for Cisco. But, my journey started in 1992 when Graduated with a Masters Degree in Genetics and I began my first carrier in academia. After just a few years I moved into the private sector and my second career -computer programming, and ultimately leading groups of programmers. Then, after more than 16 of leading software developers, I finally found the 'right seat on the bus': front-line sales. Over the next year I plan to combine my successes in leadership with those in sales to lead a group of sellers.
Just after I completed my post graduate degree I married my college sweetheart Gina. We have four children; Mia - married in late 2019; Joey - finishing an undergraduate degree; Leo - finishing an associates degree in welding; Lola - living her best life as a high school junior.
I am very involved with my church where my wife and I lead a house-church and are active in the teen ministry. My hobbies include cabinet making, and restoring cars from the 1920's.
