About John
John is a husband, father, and veteran with 20 years of military service and over 18 years in Corporate America. He is a values-based leader who loves to lead purpose-driven teams to do amazing things.
In the military, John held every enlisted leadership position up to and including First Sergeant - as a combat engineer, construction engineer, operations manager, and Equal Opportunity Advisor.
John currently works for USAA as a Director of Business Planning and Strategy and has held previous roles at Huntington National Bank and JPMorgan Chase in risk, operations, process improvement, innovation, and technology. He is also Executive Chair of the Central Ohio Veterans Consortium, an organization committed to making Columbus the city of choice for veterans.
John lives near Columbus, Ohio with his wife, Rena, two kids, two dogs and a bearded dragon named Solo. He loves being outside hiking and biking, volunteering, and spending time with his family.
