About Timon
I'll transition to civilian life in February 2019 in the Manhattan, Kansas area. My educational and employment background is in Theatre Arts - Performance prior to serving in the Army. I have many interests, personal and professional, but my desired career fields are: Non-profit work; Arts, Entertainment, Culture, Communications; Agriculture, Forestry, Environment (Environmental Service & Natural Resources Systems; Business, Management, and Administration (General Mgmt, HR, Operations Mgmt).
Enlisted in 2005 as a Cavalry Scout and earned my commission as an Armor Officer in 2011. Two deployments. Positions of responsibility I've held include Team Leader, Truck Commander, Section Leader, Tank and Scout Platoon Leader, Cavalary Troop Commander, Asst. Operations Officer in current and future operations. 13 years leadership, personnel management, and project management experience in dynamic, fast-paced environments with teams ranging from 5 - 100 people who have varied cultural/ethnic backgrounds. I can analyze operating environments and resources, including human capital, to create a common operating picture for the organization. This allows me to make accurate assessments of and draw sound conclusions from complex situations with minimal guidance to influence leaders' key decisions. 7 years practical experience in assisting superiors to synchronize the 6 separate functions of battle command.
